“Loncar Lyon Jenkins is pleased to announce that it is accepting applications for its annual $2,500 Community Leadership Scholarship. Every year, Loncar Lyon Jenkins gives this scholarship to one deserving student who excels at serving in leadership roles at school and in the community. The application deadline is December 15, 2021. Please use the form on this page so that we can consider your application. We cannot evaluate applicants who do not use the form. At Loncar Lyon Jenkins, we know how critical strong leadership is to the local community and our nation at large. Today’s students will be tomorrow’s leaders. We want to showcase and reward a young person who has taken on meaningful leadership roles at school and in the community. In addition to getting good grades, a community leader is someone who gives back to the surrounding area. Community leaders want to make the area where they live a better place. Through this Community Leadership Scholarship, Loncar Lyon Jenkins wants to encourage and foster the growth of promising leaders who will be successful in business and become community philanthropists.“
Eligibility:
- Admitted to or enrolled in an accredited college, university or graduate school
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Unofficial transcript included in your application
- A typed 500 to 1000-word essay, using one of the prompts below
- A brief statement of your community leadership roles and activities
- Confirmation of your agreement to the Terms and Conditions
