Scholarship Video Topic:

Experts at Johns Hopkins Medicine say that more than 250,000 deaths occur each year in the United States, making it the third leading cause of death in the country. Use this opportunity to unveil your opinion on the matter in a short video. You can even share a story in which you or someone you know has suffered from any form of medical malpractice (misdiagnosis, prescription drug errors, surgical errors, etc.).

In your video, talk about what could be done to remedy the situation and protect the vulnerable from medical errors and negligence. How can we best say STOP to such practices? The length of your video should be around 30 to 60 seconds.

Upload your video to your YouTube account. Include a link to the uploaded video in your scholarship application form. Finally, post the video on Facebook or Instagram, [using #WadeLawScholarship], inspiring your friends and relatives to promote and practice high standards of health care.
