Our team at Farmer & Morris Law, PLLC values those in our community who have overcome obstacles to find personal success, serving as an inspiration to those who would follow in their footsteps. “Our firm is all about helping those who are facing adversity, and we thought Overcoming Adversity would be the perfect theme for our scholarship,” said Andrea Farmer of Farmer & Morris Law, PLLC. “We hope that the winner of our scholarship will use the reward to pursue their dreams in the legal profession. The criteria for applicants is not rigid – adversity takes many forms, and may include a physical disability or hardship, difficult financial circumstances, hurdles within your family life, or another form of adversity. “Our community is full of inspirational young people who have not let anything stop them from pursuing their dreams,” added attorney Mark Morris. “We look forward to reading essays from all qualified applicants.”
Eligibility:
- Have a 3.0 grade-point average (GPA)
- Be accepted to or enrolled in an accredited law school
- Submit an essay of no more than 750 words on the relevant topic
- Agree to the scholarship Terms and Conditions
